What this platform covers

Ride Passport is the record layer beneath every other CSI product—built to outlast ownership changes, paperwork loss, and staff turnover.

Permanent ride ID

One CSI Ride Passport ID is issued per physical ride and never reassigned, even after a sale.

QR plate support

Weather-resistant plates designed for outdoor midway conditions, with NFC-ready architecture planned.

Service history

Inspection, maintenance, and repair entries build a continuous record across the ride's life.

Ownership transfers

Transfers are recorded as history under the same identity, so records stay with the equipment.

Documents

Permits, NDT reports, manuals, and bulletins can be attached to the ride record.

Controlled access

Owners authorize what inspectors and other parties may review. Access is never automatic.

The Plate

Identification, not disclosure

Plate content is limited to ride identification. A carnival owner's name is never permanently displayed on the plate.

Replacement plates and ownership transfers continue using the original Ride Passport identity. A new plate does not create a new record.

Each role sees only what it is permitted to access

Public guest

Ride name, manufacturer, year, and the CSI Ride Passport ID confirming the ride is registered.

Carnival owner or administrator

Their own fleet records, documents, and operational history for rides they are authorized to manage.

Only the task, checklist, and qualification information assigned to them by their employer.
